Sigma Delta Tau
Gamma Epsilon, SUNY Oneonta
The Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Delta Tau was founded by 22 women who were looking for their place in Oneonta. They looked for a sorority whose values matched their own; one that would promote academic excellence, encourage leadership, and most importantly, uphold the bonds of sisterhood. That’s when they found Sigma Delta Tau and re-colonized in 2004. To this day, as our sisterhood continues to thrive and grow, we all continue to uphold the values our chapter was founded on. The sisters of Sigma Delta Tau are active in many other campus clubs and organizations and continue to set examples as campus leaders throughout Oneonta. Each sister has found her own place in this sorority and each shares an innate passion and love for this sorority and its sisters.
